Beyster Symposium, FED on Twitter

I received several well-informed blog posts last week in response to my article on cybersecurity. I would like to thank you for responding. It is clear from what I read that we seem to be nibbling away on an extremely difficult problem. I am working on the second installment of my cybersecurity article and will post it on the blog soon.

Some of you might be interested to know that the FED has a twitter account set up for people to follow along the highlights of the Beyster Symposium this week. You can find this account at twitter.com/FEDfellows. The Beyster Symposium is a large gathering of young and senior scholars involved in interdisciplinary research on employee ownership meeting Tuesday through Friday. Over the past two years, the FED has developed the Beyster Fellowship program which supports scholars at a wide range of universities addressing issues of employee motivation, firm performance and innovation, and economic development. Scholars and guests will be discussing their research. I am looking forward to attending some of the meetings during the symposium. As part of the symposium, the FED worked with MIT Enterprise Forum and CONNECT to put together a public panel discussion which will be held at the University of San Diego on Wednesday, July 23. Additional information about this event can be found at this site.
