Branded late in 2024, Vivid Life Home Care Cooperative is a new state-wide network of worker-led, member-managed LLC cooperatives in California, operating under a shared brand with shared systems, processes, procedures, quality standards and a shared back office. Vivid Life is the product of a 2-year-long planning and design effort organized by the Pilipino Workers Center in partnership with Democracy at Work Institute, the ICA Group, NDWA, Venture with Purpose, and the California Domestic Workers Coalition. The Beyster Foundation for Enterprise Development joins several major California foundations as a founding sponsor of this initiative to create homecare solutions across the State of California that meet the significant demand for homecare services and provide a pathway for workers to own their jobs and advance quality work based in respect.
